Rain, Rain, Go Away!

What is it that they say brings May flowers? April showers! What better time to discover and explore rain than the rainy days that we have ahead of us! This simple activity was a favourite of the children in our Pre-School classes. They played the role of Scientists as they conducted this experiment, asking questions along the way to further strengthen their understanding. Supplies: - Mason Jar

- Shaving Foam

- Water

- Food Colouring Method: 1) Fill your mason jar 3/4 of the way full with water.

2) Use the shaving foam to create a double layer "cloud" on top of the water.

3) Add several drops of food colouring on top of your "cloud".

4) Observe!
