Apples, Apples and More Apples!

This month in our Tuesday/Thursday class, we have been exploring all things apples!

We saw and tasted different kinds of apples, we read a story about visiting the apple orchard….so many of us have gone apple picking with our families!! What a fun, shared experience for us to share about at circle time.

We loved the story about the little red house with no windows and no doors, and cut open a real apple to find the star inside. We made our very own applesauce for snack time…mmmm it was so yummy. Its a lot of work to peel all of the apples and mix the ingredients together, but we helped out, and it was sooo worth it!

We even painted with apples during creative time!
